Feeling overwhelmed or underwhelmed? We don’t use the term ‘underwhelmed’ as much, but it does impact on our use of time. It occurs more for lack of motivation (more of this later in the program).

Here, I want you to consider if you ever think you’re overwhelmed. This is something I often hear said – again, like time management is a misnomer, being overwhelmed is often a misconception. If you were really overwhelmed, you wouldn’t be able to function very much at all. Instead, start to say, “I am capable, I am willing, and I do have time to do what I am setting out to do. I am responsible for what I choose to or choose not to do.”

When you develop a positive mindset and apply effective time management strategies, you will feel less overwhelmed and the tasks may seem far less of a burden than you initially thought.
