When you were at school and at other times in your life, you were probably told about the importance of planning and being organised. Planning and being organised are very important to get things done: however, start to assess whether you plan more or do more. Get the balance right.

Also, start to recognise whether you have trouble getting started, but once you get into your work, you’re on a roll. This tells you, ‘just get started’ after some planning: you don’t always have to plan every detail of your entire assignment from the start. What works for you? That is, gets you good results?
